Position Summary
This position is in the Information Technology Services (ITS) Division. The System Administrator - Journey reports to the Director of Infrastructure and works collaboratively with members of the Information Technology Services Division, internal members within their own department, and the college community as a whole.
This position is responsible and/or involved with recommending, designing, implementing, supporting, managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level applications and services as well as the underlying technologies that may include database, storage systems, internet services and authentication technologies. These information systems improve the college's technology services while aligning with the college's mission and goals.
This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the network, servers, and services. As an on-site final tier escalation point, it is expected that this position be available to assist all other technical workers and solve all problems assigned - through research, discussion and vendor support, if necessary.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Position Salary Range: $87,432/year - $117,588/year
The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
