As a support engineer for Cytiva’s new plant at Muskegon, Michigan you will be involved the start-up of Cytiva’s resins plant. Reporting to the IT Manager on the site, you will work with users and business units on site and provide support for both personal and shared IT functions. Including support services for applications, clients and equipment in validated lab, warehouse and manufacturing environments. As a support engineer you will be part of a local IT team on site but will also work closely with our central teams and our site in Uppsala - Sweden which have the same type of environments and applications.
During the initial phase of the employment, you will have a part time-assignment to the project and be part of undertaking hands-on implementation of IT services to the site.
Work will be performed at location on the site in Muskegon with limited opportunities to work remotely. Work will in majority be conducted during office hours but there will be limited occasions where work needs to be performed during unsociable hours or national holidays.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Handle incidents / problems, providing support for associates both on-site or remote by handling support tickets in ServiceNow
Manage service-requests, including the staging and provision/ordering of IT equipment, supporting local team, etc.
Provide support services for personal IT, shared IT, applications and validated environments in lab, warehouse, and manufacturing environments
Interact with global IT teams and colleagues on the Uppsala, Sweden site
Communicate, orally and in writing, technical information to audiences at all levels of the organization
The essential requirements of the job include:
Have several years of documented experience providing support services
Good and proven competence in client environments, specifically the Microsoft suite including Windows, Office and Teams, antivirus and software distribution
Experience working according to ITIL processes, incidents, and service-requests in a structured support system
High level of energy and enthusiasm to achieve the best possible experience for our users
Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Asset management, ServiceNow, Network fundamentals,
Voice over IP & telecom
Experience from providing support in pharmaceutical, manufacturing and laboratory environments, Microsoft Active Directory
