Summary You will serve as an Information Assurance Manager responsible for all Operations Department System Security Plans, including the Global Signals Analysis Labs (GSAL). This position is located in Suitland, MD in theNAVY CYBER WARFARE DEVELOPMENT GROUP. Responsibilities You will meet weekly with the Department Head to provide status of actions and collaborate on priority of requirements. You will ensure all system documentation is correct and submitted via appropriate channels and perform updates as needed. You will perform de-commissioning activities utilizing pre-approved procedures for clearing, purging, declassifying, and releasing system memory, hard drives, and decommissioning of systems, media and output. You will ensure proper protection and/or corrective measures have been taken when an incident or vulnerability is discovered and manage response actions should an incident be discovered. You will facilitate (such as write, revise, assist in) the development and review of assessments and Authorizations packages for submission to the appropriate accrediting offices in accordance with existing directives. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: 1) Providing information assurance guidance and oversight for networks and stand-alone systems in accordance with organizational standards; 2) Overseeing and reporting compliance with security plans on all information stores, systems, and networks on a regular basis and reviewing audit logs on a weekly basis; 3) Writing and reviewing all Automated Information Systems Site Security Plans for equipment and networks based on existing policies and guidance; 4) Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of information assurance security procedures and safeguards to ensure they provide the intended level of protection; 5) Engaging daily with other agencies within the Intelligence Community to discuss policy changes or resolve non-routine issues impacting information assurance procedures and safeguards.
