We’re looking for an amazing IT Business Analyst to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle or Miami offices. You’ll be responsible for translating product requirements into detailed specifications, working closely with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met and delivering an excellent user experience. Key challenges include balancing business and technical needs, managing ambiguous requirements, and understanding complex systems. The role requires analytical, communication, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving skills to drive products from conception to launch in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities
Schedules and facilitates interviews with users and subject matter experts for the purpose of identifying objectives and gathering requirements
Maintains and writes documentation for various applications used for development, support, and training
Facilitates meetings, creates agendas, transcribes minutes, takes action items and minutes for multiple projects
Leads mid-sized technical implementation projects
Develops timelines, creates roadmaps, and devises strategy for code releases, deployments to production, testing, and training
Creates detailed functional specifications
Creates regular status reports and project communications to Managers, Directors, and Executive Leadership
Coordinates project activities including advising on systems under their purview, providing representation for our stakeholders/sponsors in meetings.
Utilizes scrum methodology to refine backlog by working with product owners and team members; facilitate release planning; assist with dependency management and cross team coordinator
Coordinates testing with QA team and the application users
Provides software release notes and training documentation for application users
Please note that all internal changes & promotions are on hold until March 2024 while the Company goes through the merit increase process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree. Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma (Green or Black)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Mobile Application development business analyst role as well as experience delivering business systems solutions in an enterprise IT environment.
Experience creating user stories, journey maps, process flows, and other analytical artifacts
Skills in facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement gathering sessions
Understanding of project management principles related to resource allocation and timelines
Ability to document business requirements and workflows for enterprise applications
Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
Knowledge of industry best practices for systems implementation, testing, and risk management
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Prior experience in a supervisory capacity a plus
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and verbal/written skills
Previous cruise line experience a plus

Base Salary Range: $78,200.00 to $105,600.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
