Title: DFAC Assistant Manager
Reports To: Project Manager, Asst. Project Manager, Building Manager
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Dining Facilities Manager (DFAC) is responsible for the smooth running of the dining room. The Dining Facilities Manager is responsible for the cleanliness of the dining room. The Dining Facilities Manager is expected to present themselves with integrity and pride.
Specific responsibilities of Dining Facilities Manager:
Create menus with Kitchen Manager/Head Cook and prep schedules for all meals
Make sure that there are options at every meal for vegetarians, vegans, dairy free, gluten free, and any other allergies that exist.
Ensure the dining room is clean and organized before and after meal service
Administer the food service budget.
Submit a food service report by the end of the contract.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To apply as Dining Facilities Manager, you must have at least two years' experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a military, or high-volume setting. Experience as a manager, and/or work in operations is also preferable.
Physical Requirements:
Significant walking or other means of mobility.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):
Generally in an indoor setting; however, may be involved in outside activities and events.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Additional Responsibilities:
Adhere to the PFS rules and regulations set forth in the employee handbook.
Comply with all HACCP standards.

Minimum Hiring Standards:
Must be at least 18 years of age at time of pre-employment screening
Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process; including drug screen and background investigation and meet Company standards.
Must possess a Valid Driver's license and pass Company Standard for MVR check
