OVERVIEW: We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst tojoin our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ApplicationPortfolio Management. The successful applicant will serve as a liaisonbetween the business units and IT department, defining and documentingbusiness needs and overseeing the selection and implementation ofsoftware programs and hardware resources. We are looking for someone tofill this position who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and flexiblewith respect to final system design. You will also be responsible forensuring business needs are met, and that SPS maximizes the use andvalue of our systems. DUTIES: Work with stakeholders to understandand summarize business requirements to be able to communicate therequirements effectively to project team(s) and potential vendors.Ability to perform application software upgrades. Knowledge of SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle (SLDC). Understanding of Project Managementsoftware. Proficient in researching solutions to increase workefficiency. Creating requirement documents such as Business RequirementDocument (BRD), use-cases, user stories, or any other artifacts neededfor projects. Acting as a liaison between the business and InformationTechnology department Ability to support project teams during theanalysis, planning, and implementation stages of software development.Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational, and time managementskills. Have a history of leading and supporting successful projects.REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years ofexperience in a similar role and who has attained a bachelor?s degree incomputer science, or related experience. Having experience using thefollowing software/tools is a bonus: Experience with Change Managementprograms. Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, Teams.
