  Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a SeniorDevOps Engineer to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developingsoftware in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branchrapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend,and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. Asuccessful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a provenability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in afast-paced environment.

  Role and Responsibilities:As a Senior DevOps Engineer with MTSI, your development activities at theCyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework(SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, andcompetencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale.Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates theintegration of security at every phase of the software development lifecyclefrom initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, andsoftware delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployabledefensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF missionsyste

  Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:Hands on experience in the following: Build tools to reduce occurrences oferrors and improve pipeline experience. Develop software to integrate withinternal back-end systems. Perform root cause analysis for developmentenvironment errors. Investigate and resolve technical CI/CD issues. Developscripts to automate visualization. Identifying technical problems anddeveloping software updates and fixes. Building and implementing newdevelopment tools and infrastructureQualifications

  Required skills:Relevant experience performing engineering activities in the Government(military and/or civil servant), federally funded research anddevelopment center, or profit or non-profit Government support, ordevelopment contractor arenaEx erience in programming languages (at least 2): React, Angular,Python, JavaScript, CSS, & HTML, Databases, SQL, Gitlab, & ArtifactoryFamiliarity & knowledge:Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker,GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana,Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & NifiExperience or Knowledge in the following Areas:Agile software development, agile methodologies, agile projectmanagement, software project management, defensive cyber militaryoperations, software development life cycle management, program/projectmanagement, systems engineering, strategic planning, cross-functional teamDesired skills/experience:

  Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems CommandExperience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program officeEducation/CertificationMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, datascience, software development or STEM related specialty and 10 years'related professional experience; Or Master's degree in computer science,software engineering, data science, software development, or STEMrelated specialty and 6 years' related professional experienceMust have SAFe for Teams & AWS Dev Ops Engineer within 6 Months of start dateClearance:Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
