Our client, Insurance domain is seeking a Sr. Apps Programmer to join their team. As a IT Full Stake Developer you will be part of the client supporting Developement Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive .Net, AWS , Javascript/Typescript and Python which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Sr. Apps Programmer
Location: Remote
Pay Range:$60.00-63.00/hr.
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services. NodeJS (Typescript or JS), Agile/Scrum. Git version control, branching methodologies. No SQL. Preferred: C#/.NET, RDMBS, Terraform, Test Automation. Again, dig on their experience and try to uncover if they truly have utilized the must have/preferred skills.
Job Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities (expected to have these skills coming in):
• Analyzing requirements for software programs
• Writing or modifying code for complex programs, components, or applications
• Cloud Development using (typescript/JavaScript) NodeJS and Python
• Writing/performing development testing (i.e. unit testing, test-driven development – TDD)
• Researching complex technical problems and recommending solutions.
• Work closely with DevOps Engineers to builds and deploys highly automated full stack.
k infrastructure solutions, which includes self-service tools and capabilities.
• Knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies and trends in the areas of hardware, services, and software development methods.
• Performs proof of concept/prototypes for emerging technologies and practices.
• Identifies and implements improvements to tools and practices that assist in software deployment, operations, and monitoring processes.
• Coordinates and maintains changes to application or infrastructure services and code.
• Prepares and maintains documentation of processes and implemented solutions.
Required skills and experiences:
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to work in a team-oriented, agile environment.
• Broad knowledge of AWS cloud services.
o Examples include: DynamoDB, MongoDB, Aurora POSTGRES, Lambda, S3, GLUE, Athena, Kinesis, Kafka, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Cloud Gateway, EC2
• Experience with NodeJS (typescript and/or javascript)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps methodologies
• Fluency in Git version control, branching methodologies and CLI.
• Experience with NoSQL
Preferred skills:
• Programming:
o C# and .NET
• Experience using RDBMS tools/technologies.
o MS SQL Server
• Test Automation
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• In-depth knowledge of automated deployment pipeline methodologies and tools
• Experience with container and server-less compute
• AWS Certification
• Azure DevOps
• Azure Cloud Services
• Exposure to Splunk/App Dynamics Monitoring (or similar experience)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.
In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
