A major healthcare organization in the area is looking for an IT Analyst to support the technology needs of the school. They will be responsible for responding, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues and service request from students, faculty, and staff, with advanced expertise and problem-solving skills. Main duties include deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot computers and related technology equipment including Windows and MacOS. Configure devices in accordance with departmental standards and industry best practices, following organizational standards of privacy and quality. Setup, configure and maintain local and network printers. Take a proactive approach to device maintenance that ensures minimal downtime. Support of conference rooms, ensuring PCs are connected to Audio and Visual systems for Cisco devices. They do not require AV experience, but it is a nice to have. Candidates with A+ certification are highly preferred.
This organization uses ServiceNow for their ticketing system, Active Directory, their environment is split between Windows (Dell and Lenovo laptops) and Mac devices (70%-30%). They have a couple of applications that sit on Linux platforms (Ubuntu and Rocky). They use Kubernetes for storage solutions and recently signed partnership with Microsoft to develop their cloud environment. They are currently using Windows 10 and Windows 11, but are fully upgrading to Windows 11 this year, experience with Win10 and 11 is required.
Most common issues are related to Microsoft applications access, they also support troubleshooting for apps using by students and faculty, such as, Canvas, Adobe products, and Qualtrics.

his role follows a first shift (M-F 8am-5pm) and is 100% onsite. There's option for paid parking ( or consultants can park about two miles away from campus and ride a shuttle. This is a 3 month contract to cover for a paternity leave of a current team member. There's a chance this position get extended for longer and go full time after 6 months.
