You enjoy diving deep into investigations, learning more about security risks, and are open to developing a network of public and private sector professional contacts and keeping up with evolving techniques.Key job responsibilities* Triage and assess threatening communications, provide timely and pertinent analysis, and coordinate response efforts with multiple departments.* Investigate and monitor for new trends or changes to security environments, alerting appropriate responders as needed and escalating appropriately.* Produce intelligence reports, risk assessments, and deep-dive analysis in a cohesive, concise, and visually appealing format.* Build and maintain business relationships internally, as well as with external partners.* Provide intelligence briefings to senior management.About the teamOur positive and supportive culture encourages our people to do their best work every day. It is always Day One.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USA* Bachelor's degree (criminal justice, psychology, or security-related preferred).* Experience in open source investigation techniques.* Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information.* Experience working with highly confidential information.* Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills, especially in high stress situations.* Experience working with qualitative or quantitative data sets* 5+ years in analytical, investigative, law enforcement, and/or executive protection disciplines.* Experience with threat assessment methodologies or structured analytic techniques.* Proficient in multiple languagesOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $140,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
