Location/Division Specific Information
Unity Lab Services provides a single source for integrated lab service, support and supply management. Our customized service offerings and world-class service experts have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customer’s laboratory's business needs.
Location : Norwood, MA
Pay : $24-26/hr, depending on experience
Hours : Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
How will you make an impact?
The position is focused primarily on scientific support services within Unity Lab Services core offerings of: order entry, order management, operating customer procurement systems, stockroom services, material handling, shipping/receiving, chemical tracking, and glass wash operations.
Responsibilities:
Order entry/order management, operating customer procurement systems, stockroom services, shipping/receiving, chemical tracking, glass washing, desk top delivery, dry ice services, and others as required
Assist in updating SOP’s and Work Instructions
Subject Matter Expert in Best Practices for the portfolio of services such as Order Management, Inventory Management, Glass Wash, and Customer Owned Inventory.
Acquire and maintain all vital certifications to support site operations
Handle all site operations and duties for efficient outcomes to maintain highest standards of excellence
Operate across a wide variety of services including training and assessment responsibilities with a high level of success.
High light RED Flags affecting site operations for corrective action
Promote personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies, procedures and system enhancements without the presence of site trainer and management team.
Maintain proficiency of all e-learning tools and online training as required
Listen to customer concerns, effectively diffuse dissatisfaction, and quickly identify course of action with first call resolution within established turnaround times
Participate in projects and perform all other duties as assigned.
Keys to Success
Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to include drug screening.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma: BA/BS preferredExperience :
1+ years of progressive proven experience preferred
Forklift experience, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
Ability to establish and foster positive customer relationships
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Proactive approach to problem solving
Ability to self-manage and operate independently.
Display high level of confidentiality
Demonstrate sense of urgency
Demonstrate a high level of accountability for site coverage duties.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
