About Inventory Controller

  Summary:

  Currently looking to hire candidates with strong experience in logistics, shipping & receiving or inventory! Candidates will be working in a facility that specializes in making equipment for fuel & lab testing purposes.   Job Description:

  Ensure inventory accuracy through the effective implementation of inventory control processes.

  Coordinate inventory flow to fulfill production needs and maintain effective communication to facilitate.

  Refine policies and procedures related to control of inventory that abide by rules & regulations.

  Assure the creation and accuracy of records for material traceability.

  Receives incoming inventory and uses vendors packing slips along with employee’s physical counts to achieve an accurate inventory of incoming items.

  Compare physical inventory to the quantities within ERP and fixing any discrepancies

  Communicates with Logistics Company to determine pick-ups and drop-off times for all incoming and outgoing freight.

  Communicates with Inventory Planner to create and maintain a log for all cancelled, miss-shipped, and past due items that are not to be accepted.

  Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  3-5 years of inventory, logistics, or shipping & receiving experience

  Ability to navigate inventory software programs, such as SAP/ERP/MRP

  Must be computer literate, being able to perform data entry and utilize Microsoft applications, such as Excel

  Familiarity with ISO 9000 process strongly preferred

  Ability to operate forklift when needed

  Additional Information:

  1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

  $20-$24/hr, dependent on experience

  WEEKLY pay + full benefits (medical/dental/vision)
