Job Description Lead Developer Winona, MN (Multiple Openings) Specialized job duties: 1.Leading and building the Mobility Team consisting of iOS and Android developers. 2.Architecting and designing Enterprise Mobility applications and Performing integration of mobility applications with other systems. 3.Designing solutions and systems that could be re-used across other applications thereby reducing development cost and time. 4.Designing Fastenal libraries, which contain features and functionalities common across Fastenal applications as well as oft-used third party features and can be plugged into any project removing the need to re-write the code. 5.Leading the innovation branch for Mobility to keep up with the latest technology trends. 6.Architecting the CI/CD pipeline for the Mobility apps. 7.Working closely with the support team helping and training them to debug the production issues. 8.Working closely with the Business Analysts & the Product owners to gather the requirements. 9.Managing and supporting the release of Mobility apps to more than 10K devices. 10.Setting up various systems to monitor the performance of systems and perform necessary improvements/changes if needed. 11.Monitoring legacy applications and upgrading or deprecating them as needed. 12.Interfacing with third party vendors to get new product and technology updates and guide the direction for Mobility. 13.Leading the effort of migrating all the Mobility apps to the MongoDB technology, a major technology update. 14.Optional partial telecommute schedule after onboarding period, training & meeting performance goals. Minimum required education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in software development or closely related field 1.4 years of iOS development experience 2.Working knowledge in creating, maintaining, & supporting critical iOS enterprise business applications 3.Experience leading and mentoring a team 4.Proven ability to transfer and develop skills and knowledge in new technical areas at short notice. 5.Strong Leadership, critical thinking, documentation, written and communication skills 6.Ability to pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY) Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
