Description

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Inventory Clerk in Tucson, AZ. This position focuses on warehouse operations, specifically in relation to shipping and receiving. The role will require you to manage inventory, label parts and ensure smooth operations in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the shipping and receiving of warehouse goods

• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability

• Label parts accurately for easy identification and retrieval

• Handle warehouse operations efficiently to ensure smooth workflow

• Respond to inquiries related to inventory, shipping, and receiving

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of warehouse operations

• Take appropriate action on issues related to inventory and warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar position within a logistics environment.

• Proficiency in using inventory software and databases.

• Familiarity with Shipping Receiving procedures.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items, if necessary.

• Understanding of supply chain procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong numerical skills and ability to keep accurate records.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Willingness to work overtime if necessary.

• Possession of a valid driver's license may be required.
