JOB DESCRIPTION:
The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Postdoctoral Fellow position will work on research projects related to pregnancy complications, including preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and will focus on both human and mouse models that have previously been developed in the Principal Investigator's lab. Additionally, the postdoctoral fellow will take advantage of a novel assay to detect proteinopathy at 11-13 weeks of pregnancy under Dr. Surendra Sharma in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Basic Science & Transitional Research Division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field. Scientific research experience.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
