The Specialty Client Acquisition intern will engage in all aspects of the CRB department activities. Opportunities and responsibilities will include assisting department management/teammates in key initiatives, involvement in internal and external business-related events as necessary, and completion of special projects and assignments within the department.
40 hours/week M-F
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop an understanding of the unique and complex banking requirements involved in the cannabis industry. Participate in customer and prospect meetings, in-person and/or call, with members of the CRB team and other internal partners. Assist in new client onboarding process, including gathering and reviewing required documentation as necessary. Gather and review cannabis banking industry data (competitors, products offered, fees, loan terms and structure). Analyze CRB Department's existing revenue and cost structure, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary. Develop internal presentations and reports, detailing department activities and results upon request.
Required Skills:
Highly motivated and eager to learn a unique banking industry/segment. Confident communication skills, written and verbal. Developed time management skills, ability to multi-task and shift focus when required. Detail oriented, attention to detail, and diverse creativity (willingness to think outside the box).
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and enrollment in a 2 or 4-year degree program. Enrollment in a 4-year college or university, with concentration in business administration, management, economics, finance or related discipline preferred.
