Project:
Asset inventory / asset management. This position will be working with Vision's customer CCSD (Clark County School District) . It will be managing inventory as it comes in and goes out. Documenting, tracking, and supporting from a project coordination standpoint. Working with Microsoft Office and Excel to keep track of things. They would like someone that is motivated to continue to progress in their career from a networking standpoint. This position will also work direct with CCSD, the end client.
Role:
Under general supervision from the Network Repair Supervisor, performs a variety of duties in receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock in the client’s inventory warehouse.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Issues supplies, materials, and equipment to fellow field technicians; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items issued, and records consumption of inventory.
Receives delivered supplies, materials, and equipment; confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, etc; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items received.
Reclaims old network devices upon removal from field sites and either restocks those or passes them on for disposal.
Participates in occasional projects or activities that require an ability to learn networking fundamentals and the basic concepts of an IT organization.
Conducts quarterly cycle counts of inventory materials based upon computer-monitored suggested re-order listing; assists in conducting complete physical inventory count.
Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintains labeling system on each stock item; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.
Operates equipment to properly handle materials being received, issued, stocked, and picked.
Demonstrates a willingness to learn new technologies, skills and procedures
Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness in finding solutions to problems independently of others
Provides delivery of materials to in-field job sites on a needed basis.
Performs related duties as required.
