About Internship Environmental Health Safety

  JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB SUMMARY The EHS intern will work in our EHSdepartment as well as working with other departments to achieve desiredEHS goals. He/she will have the opportunity to learn production,machining and engineering skills via hands-on training and work. The EHSintern is a hands-on position with interaction within all levels of theorganization. The EHS intern will be hands-on position and be givenprojects with deliverables. DUTIES INCLUDE: Process Safety MethodologyFormal Job Safety Analysis (JSA) -- Standardized process forLucas-Milhaupt Ergonomic analysis of tasks Lockout tagout procedurerevision as needed Participate in Lean activities including Kaizenevents, 5S, Preventive Maintenance programs, root cause analysis, 5 Whyand other Lean tools to enhance productivity. Interface with ValueStream Managers, Team Members and senior management to drive EHScontinual improvements QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to manage multiple projects Good communications and presentationskills Understanding of basis ergonomics and JSA process Understandingof basic EPA, WDNR, OSHA regulations EDUCATION Enrolled in a college oruniversity seeking a Bachelor\'s in environmental, health and safetyEqual Employment/Affirmative Action Employer Lucas Milhaupt believes inand practices equal opportunity and affirmative action.
