The Team Leader offers training and || problem solving with sound people skills. || || |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| · Oversees the adequacy of the OJT program and makes || recommendations for improvement. || || · Assure proper completion of necessary forms for any || absences such as sick/tardy/no show. || || · Notify manager of any absences in advance when possible to || assist in determining the need for substitute help. || || · Coordinates, and inspects, the repairs and maintenance of || equipment, buildings and grounds. || || · Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and troubleshooting || various plant equipment. || || · Installation, assembly and testing of industrial machinery || during plant modification and/or expansion. || || · Inspects work for completeness and tools and equipment for || accountability. || || · Direct training of maintenance techs in electrical, || mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of || machinery and equipment. || || · Review PM procedures, and regularly review and monitor || maintenance personnel routines. || || · Assist with developing new PM's for equipment and maintain || and or update current program with any changes per the direction of || management. || || · Assist management in maintaining inventory of spare parts || and equipment. Notify manager if parts are needed. || || · Seek opportunities and suggest changes with the uses of || equipment for production, quality and to increase efficiency of || maintenance department. || || · Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately || trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can || be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. || || · Directs, maintains and enforces the safety program for the || maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of || maximum safety for all maintenance technicians. || || · Supporting change management and empowering and engaging || employees. || || · Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance || of a comprehensive reliability improvement program which will ensure || all equipment is maintained in a safe and reliable method. || || · Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, || organize, and accomplish work. || || · Job requires a willingness to lead, take charge and offer || opinions and direction. || || · Operates and maintains equipment and tools for work || performed. || || · Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner. || || · Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying || special attention to health and/or safety procedures. || || · Maintain and enforce standards of good manufacturing || practices and housekeeping. || || · Attend monthly maintenance meetings and other appropriate || meetings to stay informed and/or disseminate information on plant || related issues. || || · Must work a flexible schedule.
