Internal Auditor Analyst

About the role:
WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Internal Auditor Analyst to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role is responsible for performing internal audits in the Company at WEG entities in the United States based on WEG Internal Audit Policy: propose improvements on internal controls and business process and practices of WEG entities in the United States, as well as checking the compliance with the Group policies. This position requires occasional travel to WEG units in the US (approximately 40-50%).
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate actively in the preparation process of the annual audit plan related to the US units.
Prepare and update the audit work programs.
Lead the mapping and analysis process of the operating risks in the reviewed areas.
Plan the field works, determining their scope and duration according to the directions of the WEG Headquarters.
Coordinate and perform the visits, assessing the suitability and effectiveness of the internal controls, compliance with the standards and procedures by the different areas.
Prepare the internal reports, presenting the results and corresponding recommendations and improvement suggestions.
Present the internal reports to the local Management of the visited companies, negotiating the acceptance of the recommendations/improvement suggestions.
Follow-up the implementation of the effected recommendations, assessing their results.
Investigate allegations related to the WEG-s Code of Ethics;
Support projects in different areas.
Interact between headquarters and subsidiaries.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor of Accounting/Finance/Business Degree or related field (Economics, Law orBusiness Administration) or equivalent work experience.Knowledge / training:
Demonstrated track record of understanding how internal control issues affect organizations and providing pragmatic business solutions.
Enthusiastic and informed change agent, with a high aptitude to adapt/adjust the present process to the ones that will be necessary to be under compliance in our different businesses in the U.S.
Strong negotiating skills and Interpersonal relationship.
Detail-orientation and ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously with thoroughness under deadline pressure.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Customer Focus.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively to create and sustain lasting relationships at all levels of the organization.

Competency with Excel and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Finance and Accounting or experience in an operational role.
Internal audit certification (CIA or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience in SAP systems.
Working knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish is helpful.
Experience:
