About Security Project Manager

  DescriptionTheProject Managerplans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex integrated system installations.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:

  Establishes an operations budget for assigned projects by revising the original estimate based on validated project scopeOversees the following: preparation of security equipment and vendor orders, recording the receipt of materialsMaintains the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completionCreates and makes revisions to project schedules including: generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, and analysisPrepares sub-contractor request for quotation's (RFQ) including: scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of valuesReceives and qualifies subcontractor proposals, supervises work of project assigned staff, subcontractors and installers.Generates technician work orders: reviews plan, reviews progress, and prioritizes tasksMeets with contractors and owners to discuss scope of project, budgets, performance, and closeoutResponsible for project cash-flow management: progress billing, collections support and monitoring, and resource management.Responsible for change order management by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes.Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customerResponsible for the successful transition of warranty to the service processEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practicesCollaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and valuesMust be able to work overtime/weekends as requiredSome overnight travel as requiredQualificationsAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited institution or technical school with a certificate5+ years of commercial security installation related experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareFamiliarity with the following is preferred but not required:CCTV: Exacq, Milestone, Video Insight, Axis, etc.Access Control: Open Options, Software House, Amag, S2, etc.Fire Alarm: Firelite, Vigilant, EST, Simplex, etc.Ability to pass drug screeningAbility to prove US employment eligibilityMust possess a valid driver's licensePHYSICAL DEMANDS and ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:

  While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to walk and use hands to operate computer keyboard, mouse and telephone keyboard. The associate must be able to travel locally as required. The associate is occasionally required to stand; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position works various environments to include a typica office environment and visits to job sites, which includes outdoor work and work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the job site visits, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
