Description

We are in the search for a dedicated Internal Auditor to be a part of our client's team based in Austin, Texas. The Internal Auditor will be entrusted with the task of assessing operational efficiencies, internal controls, and compliance. The role involves conducting risk assessments, investigating irregularities, and preparing audit findings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of internal audits.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and prioritize key areas of focus.

• Evaluate the company's adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Investigate any irregularities identified during audits.

• Recommend corrective actions to improve operational efficiency and control.

• Prepare detailed audit findings and present them to relevant stakeholders.

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate audit records.

• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement audit plans.

• Ensure all auditing processes align with the CobiT framework.

• Oversee business systems to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory for the role

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a key requirement

• Expertise in implementing and managing Audit Programs is essential

• Understanding and experience with Business Systems is required

• Knowledge and practical use of CobiT is necessary for this position

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions is a crucial requirement

• Experience in presenting and discussing Audit Findings is expected

• Strong background in Auditing is essential

• Ability to develop and execute Audit Plans is a must
