JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Supply Chain Intern Ducommun\'sAppleton Performance Center is seeking aSupply ChainIntern to workpart-time or full-time during the school year and could extend into thesummer. The Supply Chain Intern will drive material by expediting ordeferring components, placing orders, filling shortages and componentmaintenance. Who are we? OurFacility in Appleton, WI manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boardsfor Aerospace and Defense as well as Industrial and Medical Industries.Job Summary Involvement with Supply chain projects including Improve DOI(Days of inventory), PPV (purchase price variance), and DPO (Dayspayable outstanding). Developing supply chain programs for individualcomponents. Work directly with suppliers to ensure supply is pipelinedto our needs. Propose process changes to improve supply chainperformance. Must be willing and able to work additional hours asnecessary. Acceptable attendance is an essential function of theposition. Performs other duties as assigned or required by the position.Basic Qualifications Currently enrolled and working to complete aBachelor\'s degree in Business Administration with a major in SupplyChain preferred. Junior or Senior status in the 2023 spring semester.Knowledge of MRP (Materials Requirements Planning). Previous experiencewith an ERP system a plus. APICS certification preferred but notrequired. RequiredSkills/Qualifications: Ability to read and writereports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively presentinformation to peers and management. Solid critical thinking and problemsolving skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with theability to create formulas, v-lookups and pivot tables.
