　　Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to theproduction of potatoes, sugar beets and wheat. Consultants pleaseconduct a seated interview. Dates of need are 3/10/2024-11/30/2024. Thisorder is for work in the Mini-Cassia area. Applicant `MUST HAVE` 20days experience as a general farm worker/irrigator/livestock worker andthe name and number of the reference who has first hand knowledge andcan verify the workers experience. Job Duties may require a split shift,such as 5:30 to 9:30 AM and 4:00 to 8:00 PM Lifting requirement of 100lbs General Farm Work will include the following responsibilities:maintain, drive, attach and operate farm implements/tractors/equipmentto till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize and harvest crops; make minormechanical adjustments and repairs on farm machinery; may mix and orspray chemicals (according to appropriate restrictive use laws, when/ifapplicable); remove undesirable and excess growth from crops or farmgrounds; remove rocks from field; paint farm structures; replace/repairfencing; perform general clean up of farm areas; drive, load/unloadtrucks; operate motor bike or all-terrain vehicle in the course ofperforming duties. Irrigation duties will include the following: Handlines: connect pipes; check alignment of pipe and adjust for properwater distribution; attach lines to water supply; turn on pump; turnvalves to start flow of water; disassemble lines and carry pipes acrossfields at specified intervals; move pipes through freshly irrigatedcrops and/or plowed fields where mud may be deep at times; lift andcarry pipe sections weighing approximately 40 pounds on a sustainedbasis. Wheel lines: start gasoline engines and operate controls to movelines across fields at specified intervals. Pivots: push on switch thatactivates circle sprinkler system. Other Irrigation Duties: removepipes/wheel lines from storage and lay out/place in predeterminedpatterns in fields; lubricate, adjust, repair and replace parts such assprinkler heads and drive chains using hand tools; observe revolvingsprinklers and adjust to ensure proper operation and uniformdistribution of water; disassemble, service and storepipes/mainlines/wheel lines after irrigation season; check and add dripoil to pumps. To meet minimum acceptable performance standards whenirrigating, the worker must, after a 10 day conditioning period, move anaverage of at least 48 40-foot sections of 3-inch pipe or 44 40-footsections of 4-inch pipe per hour under normal working conditions. Dutiesrelated to the Cutting/Sorting of Seed Potatoes will include thefollowing: Will apply techniques as instructed by the employer to cutand sort potatoes by: using knife to cut potato into sections; placepotatoes on machine that cuts potatoes into sections; push button tostart machinery; tend/ monitor machine to insure proper movement ofproduct; discard diseased/rotting/inferior product and foreign matter;report malfunctions; general cleanup; unload trucks seed coming in/goingout. Duties related to the Harvesting of Potatoes will include thefollowing: Will apply techniques as instructed by the employer to:remove rocks from rows in front of harvesting equipment; discarddiseased/rotting product, rocks and foreign matter; alert equipmentoperator of equipment clogging/malfunctions; aid operator in correctmachine performance.
