　　Job Summary

　　Under general direction of the Naturalist, the Intern will coordinate and lead camp participants in a variety of recreational and educational outdoor activities and assist with planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and nature education programs at the Nature Lodge at Raccoon River Park. This internship seeks to develop practical skills in environmental education and interpretation, simulate personal growth and development, and increase the knowledge and interest in natural history, ecology, and conservation of natural resources.

　　Requirements Must be currently enrolled in a Graduate or Undergraduate naturalist program (Environmental Science/Education, Natural Resources, Biology, Recreation/Leisure Services, Parks Administration, Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education, or closely related field), having completed at least two years of related coursework.

　　This is an internship which is not permanent and is being made available for individuals seeking work experience prior to graduating from an accredited college or university.
