About Resident Counselor

　　Buffalo. Resident Counselor-PT. Transitional Services Inc. PT-20hrs weekly.

　　Provide on-site support and supervision to residents as well as instruction in the areas of money management, community utilization, socialization, use of leisure time, and daily living skills. Must have ability to positively engage group of residents with mental illness and build supportive relationships.

　　Requires an approved Human Services Field:*Bachelor's level education or higher in any field plus 2 years of paid experience in Health or Human Services*Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) *Associate"s Degree in Health & Human Services or Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counseling, plus 1 year of paid experience in Health & Human Services*A high school diploma, plus 3 years paid Health and Human Services experience.

　　Must possess valid driver's license, pass all required background checks, including drug screen.
