Join us.As a Product Marketing & Sales Enablement Intern, you'll work to support go-to-market initiatives and marketing campaigns in the Networked Solutions business unit. We design and deliver industrial IoT (IIoT)-enabled solutions, bringing innovative solutions to market for smart energy and water and smart cities. In this global and cross-functional role, you will interact directly with product marketing, product management, corporate marketing, and sales to support GTM initiatives, product launches, sales enablement, collateral development, campaign management, lead generation, and data analysis.We are seeking a self-starter with a "roll-up-the-sleeves" mindset who enjoys working in a highly dynamic, cross-functional environment. This position will report to the Director, Sales Enablement of Networked Solutions and be hybrid, with the expectation of 1-2 days working in the office.Duration: minimum 20 hours/wk during the academic year, 40 hours/wk in summer. Internship to begin May 2023.Duties & Responsibilities:Help develop and execute marketing campaign content to support lines of business targets and goals in collaboration with product management group and Itron sales.Support product management and sales with go-to-market (GTM) plan, including: value proposition, market segmentation, competitive analysis, commercial model, delivery model, etc.Coordinate with resources in corporate marketing group, as needed, to plan, oversee, develop, execute, track and be accountable for assigned product-group based marketing campaigns and related activities.Continuously improve and enable sales team through training and awareness campaigns.Follow up on lead management through marketing campaigns to drive new client acquisition & sales revenue.Support content marketing, including writing collateral and promotions with internal and external partners, i.e., write blogs, whitepapers, website copy, speaking abstracts and other documents.Manage aspects of industry trade shows, coordinating with internal and external parties on event management, lead generation, promotion, and follow up.Required Skills & Experience:Efficient organizational skills and ability to work independently to organize unstructured informationStrong writing skills and verbal communication, including delivery of presentationsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work towards achieving long-term goalsProficient intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, TeamsAvailable at least 20 hours/wk during the academic year, 40 hours/wk in summer.Preferred Skills & ExperiencePrior related experience in electricity, water, gas, smart cities, or telecommunication industries is a plusStrong writing skills with the ability to translate technical information into value propositions for multiple personasAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, TeamsKnowledge of Workfront or other related content development and management systemEducation: enrolled in a related degree program (i.e. marketing, communications, technical communications)Travel: 0 - 10%Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.Itron is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and providing an authentic workplace experience for all employees.
