About Insurance Follow-Up Specialist

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Insurance Follow-Up Specialist in the healthcare/medical industry. As an Insurance Follow-Up Specialist, your role will encompass handling insurance follow-ups, executing medical collections, and engaging in significant email and messaging correspondence.

Responsibilities:

• Handle insurance follow-ups with precision and efficiency.

• Execute medical collections systematically.

• Maintain active communication through email and messaging.

• Manage appeals and claim administration effectively.

• Perform billing functions and benefit functions as part of the job role.

• Streamline collection processes to ensure smooth operations.

• Leverage hospital billing experience in executing job responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience in managing and resolving appeals in a healthcare setting

• Thorough knowledge of benefit functions within the healthcare industry

• Expertise in handling billing functions, including invoice generation and payment processing

• Familiarity with claim administration processes, preferably within the healthcare sector

• Prior experience with collection processes, particularly in a hospital environment
