Ability to supervise students including management of student behavior;use of technology; instructional planning and delivery; classroom andfieldwork/laboratory safety, security, set-up, and organization ofclassroom and shop. The ability to interact and communicate withstudents, support staff, parents/guardians, and other internal andexternal stakeholders with professionalism.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Holds and maintains or Eligible to hold a valid Vermont StateEducator License
- Holds a minimum of an Associates degree or its equivalent - Holds theIndustry Credential/Electricians License
- Five or more years of recent industry experience in the electricalfield and familiarity with VT Electrical Code - required - Workingknowledge of the Vermont State Proficiencies and the VT Agency ofEducation CTE Competencies required.
- Experience with classroom management to ensure the safety of allstudents.
- Understanding student learning differences.
- Patience and persistence.
- Ability to supervise students in both the classroom and lab areas
- Ability to attend required or requested training, meetings, andprofessional growth activities outside of school hours (i.e. summers andafter-school).
The annual Salary is competitive in Vermont. This is a school yearposition covered by the local Education Association collectivebargaining agreement. Applications only accepted electronically.
