Summary:
Supports the MetroHealth System by designing learning and development curriculum and courses to ensure a globally consistent training experience. Promotes collaboration, partnership, and relationships among stakeholders. Organizes the e-learning course development/evaluation cycle, collaborating with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and Human Resources staff to develop and deploy courses, programs, and activities. Collaborates with all pertinent stakeholders to generate meaningful outcomes to support key drivers. Possesses and applies knowledge of educational models and theories, including instructional design and adult learning theory. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
RequiredBachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or Human Resource related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.Three years of related experience.Knowledge of adult learning theory and course development.Demonstrated ability to use online learning content development tools, preferably Articulate 360.Strong background in developing engaging online training programs.Demonstrated competence as a proactive and responsive team player.Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail and follow through.Able to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred:Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning or Human Resources related field strongly preferredExperience in a health care setting.Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR) or certification eligibility per HRCI Standards.
