As an Installer II, you are responsible for reading and interpreting the proper installation specifications for various construction projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.In addition, you will:Perform Pre Job Survey'sCreate a Safety Plan for the Job activitiesDetermine floor plan layouts, telco mainline cable routing, power distribution, backup power supplies, and cabling of central office equipmentIdentify, and requisition parts necessary to establish low- and high-level racking, transmission racking, power racking, aisle lighting, and provision for groundingCreate comprehensive and accurate installation specifications and accurate equipment requirements to fulfill customer orders and comply with local and state regulationsCreate or correct location records, drawings, bill of materials (BOM), installation notes, and memos to reflect additions and modifications to customers' location (central office) as a result of installation or engineering activitiesReview installation specifications, Identify Risks & Hazards, Out of Scope Items, ConstraintsQualifications
About You:Education and TrainingHigh School diploma or GEDValid Drivers License (CDL is a Plus, but not required)2 years' experience as a Level I Central Office Installation technician or equivalent as determined by Installation ManagerCustomer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve partnershipAbility to use Microsoft Word, Excel and work within company provided databases to update job statuses.Ability to lift tools and equipment as needed (minimum 10 lbs)

Telephone Central Offices (CO's) are also known as telephone switching centers, wire centers or telephone exchanges.
