We service a wide variety of industries including Space Exploration, Power Generation, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Construction and many more.ELT offers competitive wages and advancement opportunities for hard working reliable individuals!START YOUR NEW CAREER TODAY!Position Summary: Provides administrative and clerical support to the VP of Operations with some sales administrative functions, including quoting and customer support.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Observes all safety procedures, rules and regulations, and instruction in performance of job duties- Helps maintain and update filing system for the department- Responds to customers regarding regularly occurring requests for information- Answers phones, takes messages and respond to routine questions- Assists the Office Lead with various administrative functions- Handles sales calls and produces quotes for standard products- Follow up on quoted projects as directed by the VP of Operations for status / feedback- Reach out to existing customers and ascertain any current needs- Process purchase orders and set up new customers in the system- Follow up with customers on completely projects for quality control- Follow up on open purchase orders to ascertain status of long term- Perform electronic receiving of purchase orders- Maintain current inventory control system- Scan files and various shop documents for future reference- Other typical office clerical dutiesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships is required- Must have working knowledge along with the skills and abilities required to perform various administrative functions in an office setting- Must be proficient with computers including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks- Must be proficient in Micorsoft Excel- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingLevel of Education and Experience:- High School diploma or equivalency required- One year of administrative or office experience is desired- Previous sales experience is desiredPhysical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
