Job Description

　　The Inquiry / Specification Specialist is responsible for the day to day operation of the following: analyzing customers specifications and requirements and converting same into designs suitable for estimating and manufacture within the company's capability, with limited direction from outside sources. This person will be trained on the company's internal specifications, products, and capabilities. This role is very repetitive when it comes to the day to day responsibilities so being comfortable with that type of work environment is required.

　　Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

　　In addition to the above, the Inquiry / Specification Specialist is responsible for the following:

　　Actively interact with individuals outside the engineering group to determine the necessary parameters for design and estimating services.

　　Maintain department files as required.

　　Actively interact with individuals outside the engineering group to determine the necessary parameters for design and estimating services.

　　Continually learn and educate self about company manufacturing techniques and capabilities, cable constructions and applications, and industry specifications.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Specialty

　　Experience analyzing customers specifications and requirements

　　Excellent oral and written communication skills

　　Technically oriented

　　Working knowledge of PCs, including MS Excel, MS Word Experience in the wire and cable industry

　　Ability to program using Visual Basic null
