Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Services
44-bed Inpatient Unit, providing psychiatric care for ages 18 through older adults including diagnostic assessment, stabilization, and individualized treatment programs
Interdisciplinary team approach to care, providing a therapeutic milieu to provide a safe treatment space for our patients
Therapeutic groups and family treatment with a multi-disciplinary group of staff
The Inpatient Services is a multi-disciplinary treatment team that partners with our patients and includes:
A psychiatrist for leadership and daily medication management
A therapist to provide individual and family therapy as needed
Nurses provide around the clock care supervision
Activities specialists design and lead a variety of group sessions
Peer Support Specialists to provide support to our patients on their journey in recovery
A caseworker will partner with our patients throughout the stay to create a discharge plan unique to each patient’s needs for a successful transition to home
Psychiatric technicians provide a therapeutic environment, meet requests as appropriate based on the unique treatment plan, and partner with our patients to ensure safety

Job Description:
Under general supervision, provides individual, group and/or family therapy. Provides preadmission screening to determine appropriateness for admission. Interviews patients and/or families to obtain psycho-social histories. Collaborates with the treatment team to develop a treatment plan and coordinates discharge planning.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interviews patients and family members to obtain information about home environment, family relationships, health history, and patient's personality traits.
Conducts individual or group therapy sessions. Assesses patients' progress and modifies or extends treatment program accordingly.
Provides therapeutic intervention with patient and family including individual, marital, parental, family and group therapies.
Documents current, accurate observations of care to the patient in appropriate records.
Coordinates care of assigned patients.
Assists in the implementation of education and training experience for interns and other designated students.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
6 - 12 months
Minimum Education:
Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Human Service related field
