Description

An investment firm is seeking an In-House Counsel to support their contracts review and compliance needs. They operate nationally on a fully remote basis, with employees in all U.S. time zones. The role reports to the CFO and CEO and oversees two compliance paralegals.

The salary range for the role is flexible but estimated between 180-230k DOE with an additional yearly bonus. They offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k with 4% match, 3-4 weeks PTO/sick leave, 7 paid holidays, paid CLE and bar dues and other perks.

Requirements

Requirements:

7+ years as an attorney with focused experience in contracts law, reviewing, assessing and advising on risk/compliance

Capable and ready to work as the solo attorney on the legal team, with support from outside counsel

Previous experience overseeing legal support or holding a leadership role

Juris doctor with strong academic credentials

Actively barred in any state, in good standing

Strong legal writing skills

Additional ideal qualifications:

Experience in securities law

Prior experience with government regulations compliance
