Job DescriptionSummaryActs as an onsite technical resource, providing installation, basic configuration, and troubleshooting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (mainly onsite at customer or configuration site)* Installs and sets up various hardware components including servers, networking devices, storage systems and other equipment. Rack and stack servers, cables and ensure that all hardware is properly installed according to standards and guidelines.* Provides basic troubleshooting to identify and diagnose common issues, provides basic checks and gathers information for more specialized remote teams.* Ensures proper cabling and connectivity. Properly manages network cables to include labeling, organizing and re-routing cables.* Creates and updates detailed records and documentation of network configurations, changes and troubleshooting activity.* Adheres to security protocols and compliance standards when accessing network equipment and sensitive data.* Effective communication skills and able to work with peers to relay on-site information to remote IT teams and perform tasks under remote guidance. Collaborates with remote peers to resolve complex issues.* Works with Resource Management Office (RMO) and Project Management Office (PMO) and Engagement Manager (EM) in scheduling and managing engagements.* Maintains focus on client satisfaction and expectation management.* Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.* Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
