Job Title: Industrial Painter
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to abrade surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart a specified finish.
Responsibilities
Abrade surfaces of metal or hard composition objects.
Remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt.
Impart specified finish to objects.
Shovel or pour abrasives into machine hopper.
Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors regarding painting.
Select premixed paints or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances.
Prep products prior to and post painting.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in industrial painting or blasting.
Proficiency in using a power spray gun.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to pass a respirator test.
Additional Skills Qualifications
Experience in industrial painting, blasting, and powder coating.
Proficiency in using paint booths, sandblasting equipment, mixing paints, and paint sprayers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00
