JOB REQUIREMENTS: Proficiently prepare, apply and confirm that customersurface preparation and coating requirements are achieved withconsistent high quality. Ensure preparation compliance No dirt, oil orother contaminants are present which would have a harmful effect onadhesion, visual appearance or long term coating integrity. Ensurecoatings are prepared in accordance with manufacturers specificationsand are applied and consumed within prescribed time limits without runs,sags, thin spots, etc. Assure adequate dry/cure time before handling toprevent coating damage due to air-borne contamination, finger marks, orscratches resulting from premature handling. Adjust paint and processparameters to account for atmospheric conditions (such as temperatureand humidity) or coating irregularity to achieve the specified orexpected quality finish. If coating defect/repair is required,successfully blends the area to achieve excellent adhesion and smoothsurfaces without evidence of blemish effect. Achieve the requireduniform coating thickness without runs, sags, thin or heavy spots.Perform daily and weekly cleaning and preventive maintenance on paintingand mixing equipment and ensure that required electrical grounds and airfiltration systems are monitored, logged, cleaned or replaced in orderto maintain effectiveness and compliance with applicable codes.Responsible for adding to satellite accumulation. Ensure that rawmaterial inventory is accurately recorded, labeled, secured and placedin designated locations. Every employee is expected to: Complete allrequired paperwork including labor reporting and documentation ofquality control and material movement. Work safely and maintain the workarea with high standards of housekeeping. Perform self-inspection andother required quality control functions at the employee\'s workstation. Perform required Preventive Maintenance activities on machineryand/or equipment operated. Train and/or assist in the development ofpersonnel. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision. *****OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: - Averagemechanical skills with ability to read and write. Work independentlywith moderate supervision. Lifting requirements: Frequent lifting and/orcarrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices areavailable and recommended. Must pass physical exam as required for useof respirator.
