In the role of Industrial Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, we'llcount on you to:Coordinate work for the I&C design team on oil and gas facilities,industrial manufacturing, food and beverage, and mining projects throughthe design development and construction phases of a project.Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design andproduction meetings with regard to electrical and I&C systems.Assume the I&C lead on many projects.Coordinate workload to complete projects and documents on schedule.Provide client and/or project management on select clients and projects asneeded.Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection andmodification of standard engineering techniques and proceduresCoordinate with other discipline leads and project managers to ensure designsare consistent and compatible with the full project design and project scope.Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesWrite and edit I&C specifications, and select equipment andmonitoring/control devicesCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRsand change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-uponchanges into the project documentsConduct QA/QC on the work of other I&C Engineers.Research design options for projects and provide recommendations for theproject.Review various codes & standards to ensure design is compliant.Troubleshoot and respond to client/contractor RFI's during theconstruction phase of a projectPerform other duties as needed#LI-LA1QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licensePLC/WTP and WWTP software programming experienceHands-on experience designing I and C Systems, including schematics and loopsExperience managing I and C projectsKnowledge of Modicon, Wonderware and InterlutionProficiency with Microsoft Office productsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsPrevious work experience with an A&E/Consulting Engineering firmStrong computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Willingness to travel as needed.
