　　The WW Technology Deployment org is seeking a talented and solutions-oriented Industrial Design Engineer to contribute to delivering transformational innovation to the business. This individual will be part of a team with the mission to ensure that robotics technologies maturing through the development pipeline are vetted and tested to identify and resolve issues upstream before deployments at scale. Your work will typically focus on the design and invention of tools, and validating processes, that enable large scale delivery of complex robotics systems. This role is a key part of a technical team, with the following duties:

　　Key job responsibilities

　　• Design field and laboratory trials to rigorously test and validate technology and deployment processes, including physical, functional, performance, rate, and scalability

　　• Develop methodologies and tools to address gaps in deployment solutions through rapid experimentation cycles, enabling increased deployment scale, speed, and resource use efficiency

　　• Use CAD software to refine designs and create virtual models of products

　　• Utilize 3D printing to create product prototypes that are both non-functional and working in order to evaluate their practicality

　　• Work with a team of manufacturing professionals and engineers to evaluate product prototypes in order to determine production feasibility and costs

　　• Demonstrate the effectiveness of your solutions through field and lab validations

　　• Utilize computer-aided industrial design (CAID) software to instruct manufacturing equipment how to build the finalized product design

　　• Provide feedback on, and improve, third-party solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose for deployment at scale

　　Basic Qualifications

　　• BS in Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent

　　• 2-5 years relevant experience

　　• Experience in CADD, 3D Modeling, industrial materials and processes, and manufacturing methods

　　• Ability to absorb complex information efficiently and quickly, and explain complex ideas relatively simply to non-experts in a way they can interpret the information

　　• Industrial experience working with cross functional teams and to develop solutions

　　• Capable of multi-tasking, taking into account priorities, schedule commitments to customers, and resource constraints across stakeholder teams

　　• Excellent business communication skills

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• Proven deployment related innovation and process improvement track record resulting in significant business upside;

　　• Experience with Testing or Validation processes and procedures, including end-to-end system integration;

　　• Success in identifying established suppliers, startups, university resources to bring innovative solutions, establishing collaborative business and technical relationships;

　　• Development of scalable tooling solutions, including financial ROI analysis;
