Omni Aerospace is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator to join ourteam. Our 2nd shift hours are currently Monday-Thursday, 5pm 5am. Youwill be reporting directly to our Production Supervisor. This is a greatopportunity if you want to be a part of a growing organization with asmall company feel. This is an in-office position, you must livewithin a commutable distance from Wichita. We are looking to hiresomeone quickly, so this opportunity wont be around long!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Validate correct material is loaded per the work order traveler
Ensure part is load with correct grain direction
Secure part within the holding fixture
Ensure the programmed dimensions are loaded into the machine correctly
Monitor 1st part run at every operation and obtain first part buy off byinspection
Deburr parts as needed
Ability to complete necessary paperwork and clocking within ERP system
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Minimum Two years experience operating Multi-Axis CNC Machines
Must be able to do your own setups
Be able to read and understand design blueprints/drawings
Must be able to operate more than one machine at a time
Attention to detail
Must be able to use precision measuring instruments to verify theaccuracy of your own parts
Must be able to identify correct cutters for each job
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment DrugScreening and Background Check.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and/or moved up to 50 pounds
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
