Indirect Sourcing Buyer EMEA
Responsibilities:
To strengthen our EMEA sourcing team, we are actively looking to fill a position in our EMEA Indirect Purchasing organization.
Your core responsibility is to provide professional support to EMEA stakeholders and manage regional sourcing projects in the aeras of Professional services, R&D, Travel
Specific Responsibilities:
Core responsibility is to provide professional support to EMEA stakeholders and deploy regional sourcing projects on specific indirect categories for a spend of $36 M through 3 segments.
• Management of national/regional sourcing projects that will require utilization of its academic knowledge,
• Development of the regional sourcing strategy on its categories, in close collaboration with the Global Category Manager
• Revision of contracts and negotiation of annual cost decrease,
• Perform activities relative to SRM and Footprint,
• Negotiation of local/regional sourcing initiatives,
• Development of analysis and report to guide global Category Managers in developing global category strategies and/or business cases,
• Support deployment of Global sourcing strategies,
• Working with various functions within Newell Brands, and especially in close collaboration with the Marketing department and e-commerce division.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Procurement
• Master’s degree in Purchasing, or Graduated from Business School or Engineering School
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to manipulate Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Ariba
• Some Travel required.
• Fluent in English - additional language is a plus.
• Experience of working in a pan European organization / Multicultural background
