In Transit Repair - Vehicle Coordinator
The In-Transit Repair (ITR) team is responsible for dispatching damaged units to ITR dealerships for repair across the US and Canada . The ITR Analyst is r equired to review the submitted case , damage photos and come to a determination if the vehicle should be repaired prior to final destination delivery. The ITR analyst will review repair estimate s and determine if the estimate exceeds the threshold of allowable damage based on state and Stellantis disclosure laws. Vehicle will either be repaired and shipped on to final destination dealer as new, repaired and sent to auction, or scrapped.
Duties Include:
Receive ITR cases through the Outbound Transportation (OBT) System
Review cases to ensure ITR submission guidelines have been followed and the necessary documentation has been submitted
Ensure all cases are reviewed daily and dispatched
Review Vehicle Delivery Receipt s to ensure damages are signed off by both parties
Ensure damages being reported match the damages on the Vehicle Delivery Receipt
Review dealer repair estimates, verify parts/labor rates and determine preliminary category of vehicle
Review damage photos to validate damages coincide with damages noted on the delivery receipt
Request additional information when needed
Conduct daily follow-up with dealers on repair status and timing
Review paid Transportation claim s for units where diversion was requested
Create diversion request s for required units in the Vehicle Buy Back System
Create disclosure s for diverted units consigned to auction in VBBS
Complete documentations for scrap units that are sent to LKQ
Interact with auction personnel regarding the pickup of diverted units to auction when required
Interact with Business Centers personnel regarding case management when required
Oversee all stolen vehicle reports
Report all stolen vehicles to Stellantis security for vehicle tracking initiation.
Obtain and provide required documentation to recover stolen units from tow yards
Onboarding of additional ITR dealerships
Work with Stellantis Fleet team on repair status and timing updates
Identify and provide relevant information to management towards process improvement
Requirements:
High School degree, Associate degree preferred
General vehicle knowledge Understanding of dealership operations
Ability to understand and perform light mechanical work
Proficient with computer systems, including MS Office applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid Driver's/Chauffeur's License
