Description

Robert Half Legal has partnered with a family run trucking and logistics company in Rancho Cucamonga on a search for their first in house counsel. The role involves employment law compliance, workplace injuries, auto accidents and liability claims, contracts, litigation, risk/compliance, advisory work, and much more. The company is growing rapidly and their would like to bring their legal work in house. They have an impressive presence across the country and are moving into a newly renovated space for their California team.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Active membership in the California State Bar.

Strong knowledge of California labor laws, OSHA regulations, and commercial transportation laws.

Experience handling insurance claims and litigation related to workplace injuries and accidents.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and HR.

Excellent legal research, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
