Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an In House Counsel in the insurance industry, based in Detroit, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Handling in-house litigation matters with a focus on insurance defense

• Providing expert advice on insurance coverage issues

• Representing the organization in trials, ensuring effective legal defense

• Utilizing knowledge of Personal Injury Law in handling various cases

• Acting as the primary attorney for the organization, handling all legal queries and concerns

• Ensuring all legal activities adhere to the organization's policy and legal regulations.

Requirements • Applicant should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar legal role such as In House Counsel

• Proficiency in Insurance Coverage is required

• Strong familiarity with Personal Injury Law is essential

• Demonstrable experience in Insurance Defense is necessary

• Valid license to practice law is required

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• High degree of detail orientation and integrity

• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information

• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
