You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of biochemists, engineers, and physicists to support all phases of biosensor development.
Responsibilities
Independently plan, evaluate, and oversee execution of experiments related to immunoassay development
Capture and analyze large data sets, summarizing results for both technical and non-technical audiences
Characterize, troubleshoot, and improve processes to establish robust assays
Develop and transfer manufacturable processes related to the biochemistry layer, including development of QC methods as required
Work independently, and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams consisting of biochemists, engineers, physicists, Manufacturing Operations and Quality.
Communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a clear, concise manner via oral updates, technical meetings, and written reports
Work under Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) at all times, and work under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) where required
Experience & Education
Candidates must have a prior experience in biochemistry, biology, immunochemistry, or related disciplines
Candidates must have a track record of solving complex, multidisciplinary technical challenges in a fast-paced environment
Candidates will have recent, relevant experience in immunoassay development
Candidates will have proven experience in current analytical tools and techniques
Relevant experience in biosensor development is highly desirable
Experience in relevant statistical techniques, and experience with relevant statistical software is required.
Experience with scripting languages for data analysis such as R is highly desirable
The successful candidate will have either:
A Ph.D. with 2-4 years of recent, relevant experience, or
An M.S. with 4-6 years of recent, relevant experience, or
A B.S. with 6-10 years of recent, relevant experience
