　　Accounts Payable Accountant Washington, D.C. area

　　$70k, plus bonus, 401(k), hybrid work options, free parking

　　My client is an international law firm with an exciting new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Accountant. The Accounts Payable Accountant will join a very experienced team and be responsible for processing high volume vendor payable invoices, including expense reports, posting GL entries, and coding of invoices. Candidates with large ERP software experience are highly encouraged to apply. The Accounts Payable Accountant ideally will have experience managing a high volume fully cycle payables processing system and payment processing experience. Accounts Payable Accountant will report to the Controller will be responsible for the following duties:

　　-Process high volume invoices for multiple properties and sites

　　Manage the System for all payables including process improvement and policy review

　　Code, match, batch, and processes checks and ACHs

　　Posting GL journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and accruals

　　Set-up new vendors within ERP System

　　-Process credit card reconciliations, EFTs & ACHs

　　-Process 1099s and W9s

　　-Resolve discrepancies with payments and vendor inquires

　　-Track monthly accruals and variance in vendor payments

　　-Manage the sales & uses tax processing

　　3 + years’ experience in full cycle accounts payable

　　Excellent Communication written and verbal

　　BS/BA degree is preferred

　　Stable job history
