FTE: 0.90 Shift: Shift 2 -Monday - Friday - 1130-2000 -Off every Aweek Friday -No scheduled weekends -Part of holiday rotation -2nd shiftdifferential Job Summary: Provides patient centered care across allareas of Imaging Services. Clerical duties may include but are notlimited to: reception, way finding, registration, insuranceverification, documentation in EMR, utilization of proper phoneetiquette. Patient care duties may include but are not limited to:detailed/clear communication by phone and in person to prepare patientsfor studies, monitoring inpatients and assisting them with basic needs,monitoring patients, transporting patients to and from the imagingdepartment and assisting technologists with performing imaging studies.Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year experience ina clinical or hospital setting is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Highschool diploma or equivalent is required.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when performingcare, resolving patient care problems and dealing with patients andfamilies. Ability to use general medical support equipment, includingpatient lifting devices; understand and follow instructions, as well asgive clear directions to patients and others in need of assistance andguidance; good listening skills. Ability to use standard officeequipment including computers, fax, copy, document scanners, and tubestations. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and humananatomy.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association (AHA) BasicLife Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approvedequivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
