What you will doDo you have HVAC experience? Youmay be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve buildinginefficiencies and resolve service related items. As a trusted advisor to ourcustomers you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service
How will you do itMechanics must have practical working experience in light commercial orcommercial mechanical equipment. May be required to satisfactorily pass anexamination to identify special skills. Scope of work shall be limited tocommercial HVACR service. Servicemen may partner with Journeymen in the repairof centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drivescrew chillers and ammonia systems. Perform maintenance, repair andreplacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems. Providerecommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently toinclude upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations andsolutions.
What we look forRequired
Two (2) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshootingexperience in the HVAC industry.
Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification which is to be done afterhours and weekends is required upon hire
Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.Preferred
Five (5) years of Commercial and or industrial work experience in the HVACindustry
Refrigeration Certification preferred
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
Pay Range: $41.40-$43.40 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collectivebargaining agreement.Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis
