　　The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The person hired for the position of the HVAC Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining of plant utilities equipment. This would include HVAC, Refrigeration, Fire Protection, Compressed air, and Vacuum Systems. Work closely with Plant Support and Engineering groups to define and implement modifications and improvements in support of continuous improvement.

　　As an HVAC Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

　　Troubleshoot site utilities equipment and recommend changes for continuous improvement.

　　Work with appropriate technical people and outside vendors to increase uptime and reduce

　　unplanned downtime including root cause analysis and problem solving of repeat downtime.

　　Assist in meeting site energy reduction goals.

　　Maintain site water treatment equipment.

　　Maintaining site electronic and pneumatic controls for utilities equipment.

　　Understanding of 3M piping practices and understanding of site steam systems.

　　Understanding of refrigerants and refrigerant systems.

　　Your Skills and Expertise

　　To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

　　Possess a two-year technical degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in HVACOR

　　Possess a high diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start) AND possess a universal certification in refrigerant handling plus 2000 hours of military school plus. AND

　　Interested and available to work flexible hours, overtime, and short notice call-ins based on business need.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

　　Proficient understanding of Utilities operations and systems.Work location:
